Realizing the importance of safety and dependability in systems handling gases, we have incorporated a number of safety features in design and construction of our blowers and exhausters for inert, toxic, corrosive, flammable gases and air/gas mixture applications.
The incorporation of many special features assures a gas tight construction with non in-leakage of air or out-leakage of gas.
The bearings are mounted outboard for quick and easy inspection and are lubricated by simple oil or grease system with no contact with the gas handled.
The impellers have ample internal clearance, thus insuring no metal to metal contact anywhere. When required, inert gas (CO2 or similar gas) can be injected to inlet or outlet sealing sections thus preventing any possible in-leakage of air and out-leakage of gas.
1- Cast aluminium or cast iron housing (inlet and outlet heads, sections and bearings housings).
2- Aluminum impellers (cast or composite).
3- Carbon ring seals at inlet and graphit seals at outlet.
4- Reversed shaft. The blower is driven from the inlet side with closed outlet bearing housing, providing a positive seal.
5- Special vacuum sealing process for heads and sections. Incorporation of "O" rings in joints of sections and heads. Hydrostatic testing of the entire blower after assembly under 1 bar pressure.
6- Aluminium guard for the drive arrangement.
7- Sectional housing protection envelope.
8- Explosion, spark proof or any type of motor as specified.
